When I started this blog, I wasn’t sure what I would be writing about. Now I’m writing about writing … go figure. I guess that’s not all that surprising, given the fact that I’m a writer myself. To tell you the truth, most days I would rather write than eat.
In another life–well, metaphorically speaking–I authored a couple romance novels. Much to my delighted surprise, they were published. Now, one major life change and a decade later, I’m making a switch to science fiction. I recently finished my first novel in that genre, which I’m posting on the web one chapter at a time. You can read it by clicking here. Meanwhile, I’m hard at work on my next novel, a futuristic mystery/thriller.
I’m also a part-time poet.
Thanks to my current day job as a communications specialist with a major US university, I’ve had a lot of features published on the web and in print. I’m a member of both Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America and the International Association of Business Communicators.
Best of all, I’m the offbeat mom of 2 creative sons, a junior senior citizen enjoying the heady sense of freedom you get when you finally let your hair go gray.
